All of our offerings conform to NIJ 0101.07 level HG2 and VPAM BSW 2006 level VPAM 3 at a minimum, with our hybrid solutions also offering protection against more exotic threats.

PROTECTION TO THE CORE
Our soft armour inserts have an integrated pocket sewn into the cover, designed to accept our proprietary CARNA™ SA anti-trauma inserts and provide enhanced spine and sternum protection.
In the event a bullet strikes the sternum or the spine area of the vest, the insert will prevent critical injuries, such as rib or sternum fractures, alongside severe numbness from damaged vertebrae.
Constructed out of a consolidated layup of ultra-thin polypropylene fibers in a hardened matrix, the 2 mm thin insert doesn't restrict movement, and provides exceptionally efficient energy dispersal without the risk of fracturing or breaking during impact.

While minimising its weight and maintaining its flexibility and protective profile, our proprietary OC² (Overt Carrier Cut) still manages to provide up to 10% more coverage than competing offerings in its regular body profile and up to 23% more coverage in the tall body profile.
When combined with a hybrid armour layup, such as our ATALAN™ or ARGO™, the SPIX™ becomes the go-to for law enforcement and security personnel who need to wear their armour all day and be able to handle a wide variety of specialised and high-energy threats.
BE PREPARED FOR ANY THREAT
With externally accessible and collapsible plate pockets, the SPIX™ is especially well-suited for patrol vehicles and on-call security services as it enables operators to quickly and effectively up-armour their vests on-scene in the event of a rifle threat.
The collapsible nature of the plate pockets allows them to dynamically conform to the thickness of the plates inserted while also being able to sit flush with the carrier's shell whenever no plates are present, making it possible to conceal the carrier under thicker garments and outerwear.

The entire exterior shell is constructed from a highly abrasion-resistant 1000D NILIT® Cordura® with no exposed perimeter stitches, ensuring the carrier's long-term durability for years to come.
With improved stability from the cross-terminating elasticated VELCRO® waistband operators can perform comfortably in physically demanding situations, such as when running or climbing.
The front and back feature VELCRO® space for designations, nametags or task-specific insignia.
KEEP YOUR COOL FOR ALL-DAY WEAR
Featuring an internal liner based on Heathcoat's SPACETEC® volumetric mesh, the vest maintains breathability while promoting airflow and naturally regulating air distribution.
With embedded COOLMAX® fibers and ingrained silver ions, the liner draws moisture away from the body while also preventing the buildup of odour-causing bacteria.
In addition to keeping you cool and comfortable, SPACETEC® also provides excellent pressure distribution, eliminating possible hotspots and uncomfortable pinching zones while having remarkable compression recovery. This, in turn, yields excellent additional shock absorption, acting as an integrated trauma pad, minimising the effects of potential impacts.
INDUSTRY-LEADING WEAR RESISTANCE
We use a unique cover material made of lightweight, abrasion-resistant polyamide face fabric coated with a durable water-repellent. Our internal liner is TPU-based and features UV-blocking pigment to protect the ballistic materials from photooxidation caused by the sun's UV radiation, ensuring consistent performance throughout the insert's lifespan, no matter the environment.
Our two-stage sealing process ensures that every insert is safe from hydrolytic degradation from water, vapour, or general moisture. We accomplish this by pre-sealing the edges in custom-made moulds for consistency, sealing potential leaks from material bending and creasing before finishing the edges using an ultrasonic welding process to fuse the cover materials together.

Material-wise, it features genuine VELCRO® manufactured in Spain, a high-performance shell in the form of NILIT® Cordura® manufactured in Israel and SPACETEC® lining materials manufactured in the United Kingdom, all sewn together with high-quality thread made in Italy.
