The CARNA™ C3P3 is designed to be as flexible and thin as possible without compromising on trauma mitigation, and as such, it is perfectly suited for covert operations or general duty wear.

Boasting up to 15-25% trauma reduction, depending on the threat. It is ideal for covert soft armour solutions and can be easily concealed when paired with thinner soft armour layups.

The CARNA™ C3P3 is generally not recommended for use with hard armour plates. Please refer to our C6P6 or C6P9 layups for these purposes.

The CARNA™ C6P6 is designed to be a hybrid between concealability and increased trauma mitigation. Depending on the operating environment and the armour solution, it can work with overt armour solutions or be concealed with thicker clothing articles.

Boasting up to 25-40% trauma reduction, depending on the threat. It is ideal for overt soft armour solutions or pure polyethylene hard armour pistol plates.

As the C6P6 is designed to be a balanced trauma layup, please refer to our C3P3 for maximum concealment or our C6P9 layups for increased trauma mitigation in an overt package.

The CARNA™ C6P9 layup is an overt trauma system designed explicitly for high-threat situations, wherein maximum trauma mitigation is preferred to maintain composure in the event the operator is struck.

Boasting up to 40-60% trauma reduction, depending on the threat. It is ideal for pure polyethylene plates or plates with a ceramic strike-face designed to favour profile over trauma mitigation.

As the C6P9 layup is intended for short-wear durations, it is generally not recommended to wear any C6P9 insert for covert operations or general duty wear. Please refer to our C6P6 or C3P3 layups for these purposes.

Our soft armour inserts have an integrated pocket sewn into the cover, designed to accept our proprietary CARNA™ SA anti-trauma inserts and provide enhanced spine and sternum protection.

In the event a bullet strikes the sternum or the spine, the insert will prevent critical injuries, such as rib or sternum fractures, alongside severe numbness from damaged vertebrae.

Constructed out of a consolidated layup of ultra-thin polypropylene fibers in a hardened matrix, the 2 mm thin insert doesn't restrict movement, and provides exceptionally efficient energy dispersal without the risk of fracturing or breaking.

Our UMBRA™ series of inserts are specifically designed to protect against FX® Simunition® during training. The inserts provide adequate padding to let the operator feel the impact but prevent any bruising from occurring.

All of the UMBRA™ panels feature a CARNA™ AT strike-face, which not only helps to mitigate energy but also makes the entire panel self-structured, allowing you to spare your ballistic inserts from wear and tear and ensuring your vest is sufficiently structured for you to perform drills without pouches sagging.

The layup is also favourable for use in MIL-SIM and other sports wherein equipment sag should be prevented. UMBRA™ is a standalone system and should never be used in conjunction with any ballistic armour systems.
